| About Us- The practice was set up in May 1993 to provide a friendly, professional and personal accountancy and tax service to sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, and also to private individuals.
- From the start we have aimed to be a little bit different from other practices, with a free telephone helpline service for added peace of mind and maintaining contact with our clients throughout the year, rather than just once a year.
- The practice has run as a limited company, since October 2004, but the trading name continues to be “LINDA COTTERILL CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS”.
- Dr Linda Cotterill – the principal of the practice, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA) and also has a first class degree from London University and MA and PhD from the University of Cambridge. Her PhD was on the ancient volcanoes of Western Scotland. Her original career was as an exploration geologist for BP Minerals but she changed careers to study as a chartered accountant, working for PKF (Worcester), and then for Deloittes Haskins & Sells in West London, who later became Coopers & Lybrand, in charge of such audits as Eton College, and Oxford University.
- Linda is supported by a team of staff who are experienced in the preparation of accounts. The office is managed by Amy Cotterill
